Cookie Policy
Cookies and similar browser storage used by this website.
What this policy covers
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include session storage and scripts that access information on a device. This policy concerns northbridgerm.com; services you choose to visit through an external link have their own policies.
What the audit found
The audit on 27 September 2026 examined all ten published pages and the published blog post, their HTTP responses, page source and loaded-script references. No Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta advertising tags or embedded video, map or chat frames were identified. The sampled first-party page responses did not set cookies.
This describes the features identified in that audit, rather than a guarantee that every browser or third-party service is cookie-free. A complete runtime inventory of cookie names and expiry periods has not yet been verified.
Identified storage and related features
WordPress emoji support
The delivered WordPress script contains a session-storage entry named wpEmojiSettingsSupports. It caches a browser emoji-rendering support test so the test need not be repeated. Session storage normally lasts for the tab’s page session and is separate from a cookie. The code inspected does not use this entry for advertising.
Remembering comment details
The public blog comment form has an unchecked option to save your name, email address and website in the browser for a later comment. You can leave it unchecked and still submit a comment.
Administrator access
WordPress has a separate administrator login. Any login/session storage used for that requested access must be distinguished from storage used by ordinary site visitors.
External resources and tools
Background images are requested from images.unsplash.com, and a blog avatar is requested from secure.gravatar.com. These requests disclose connection information; they are not evidence by themselves that tracking cookies are set. The WhatsApp link opens a separate service when selected.
The enquiry form uses Contact Form 7. No active third-party CAPTCHA, payment or email-marketing integration was shown in its integration screen. A Hostinger Reach subscription script is loaded, but the plugin shows no connected account and no subscription form was found in the audited public pages.
Your choices and future tracking
No analytics or advertising consent banner was present during the audit. No corresponding active tags were identified to test in accept, reject or withdrawal states.
You can also manage stored cookies through your browser settings. Removing cookies can affect remembered preferences or login sessions. Browser settings alone are not a replacement for any prior-choice controls the site is required to provide.
